Released slightly later than planned, members had a real treat with the release of the Club's first bottle in February which was a 21 year old Speyside from the Mortlach Distillery (57.6% Vol) Sherrywood Matured.

What we said:
"This dry and hot yet very complex creamy maple syrup delight with the smell of dark chocolate. A very closed nose, though there is something very intriguing."

Our second bottle, which will be released this week is another delight, a 17 year old Islay from the Caol Ila Distillery (46% Vol).

We know that you will enjoy this Dry, Smokey nectar ~ it is very well balanced, smokey with light phenols, fruity (apples and pears) and hints of sherbert on the nose and a palate that is rich in peat and burning embers with a slight iodine finish.
