The bottling for September was an unusual offering from the Macallain-Glenlivet Distillery, a 20 year old (52.7% Vol). This bottling was bourbon matured as a whisky aficionado once said "a Macallain in a different dress".

What we said:
"Sweet, fruity and zesty with spring cut grass, very fresh to start with, with more of the nose before you find summer fruits, the hint of sweet demerara & fruit sugars before a spiced cinamon slowly takes over. Rich dark chocolate and fresh root liquorice, then smooth gentle fruits come back."
